Bio
Professor Thomas Roche, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic Quality) & Dean SCU College, Southern Cross University, Australia. Thomas leads the University’s strategic initiatives relating to the enhancement of education quality. He ensures that the University delivers an inspired experience supporting students reach their potential. As Dean, SCU College he leads staff in providing pathway and cross-curricula academic support for students. He is a specialist in the design, delivery and management of higher education courses and pathways, empowering students to gain access to and succeed in university study. His primary research interests are in applied linguistics (Academic Literacies, English for Academic Purposes, Benchmarking and Testing).
