Bio
Chris has over 12 years of experience, with extensive exposure in government and international education sectors. Most recently, Chris was the Investment and Trade Commissioner South Asia and the Middle East, and Director at Invest and Trade for The Government of Western Australia. He has represented the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) and Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as a Diplomat / Trade and Investment Commissioner in Indonesia. Prior to working at Austrade, Chris was Regional Manager for the Middle East, South Asia and Africa at UNSW Australia, where he oversaw UNSW’s expansion into West Africa and maintained engagement with UNSW’s network of partners across his regions. Chris has a Bachelor Degree in Asian Studies (Indonesian) and a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from Curtin University and speaks fluent Bahasa Indonesia.
