Bio
Pamela Arumynathan is a Senior Teacher at James Cook University, Singapore. She guides students to develop their language skills for study at university and to build their ability to learn independently, with students being tasked to complete greater amounts of coursework on an autonomous basis as they move through the English Language Preparatory Program (ELPP). She is also a PhD student (Education) working on a study exploring the experience of mainland Chinese students’ experience of learning English at a transnational higher education institution.
