Bio
Penelle Stern is the Director, Assessments and Investigations Group. This role oversees three teams responsible for initial provider registration, assessing applications made under the ESOS Act, managing complaints about providers, material changes, and compliance and investigations. Prior to joining TEQSA, Ms Stern worked with the Department of Home Affairs in a variety of roles, including positions responsible for visa and immigration program delivery and integrity in Australia and overseas.
