
Over the past months, NEAS’s Quality Assessor completed an in-depth assessment of Future English’s application and supporting documents and followed up with an onsite Quality Endorsement visit. Structured meetings and interviews with Future English management, teachers and operational staff were completed, and class observations also formed part of the quality audit.
Future English is situated in the historic, vibrant and fashionable part of the Melbourne CBD – Collins Street, making it highly attractive for international students. Its accessibility via public transport is excellent, with trams, buses, and train services nearby. Students can also enjoy convenient access to local amenities, including cafes, restaurants, and shops that reflect Melbourne’s unique culture and lifestyle. The campus fosters a welcoming environment, with friendly reception staff.
Future English provides a General English course for international students from Beginner to Advanced proficiency levels (60 weeks). Classes are spread across a timetable of two shifts, morning and evening, which are taught by a group of qualified teachers. Future English offers flexibility in timetabling. Students can choose to attend four days of five-hour classes (from Monday to Thursday in the morning), or five days of four-hour classes (from Monday to Friday in the afternoon). In addition, a range of extracurricular activities is offered to students between shifts. Student welfare is supported by an experienced counsellor on staff who can counsel students and refer them to further services when needed.
Future English academic and professional staff foster a culture of friendliness, collaboration and support. Staff emphasise the importance of communication in English on campus, in classroom and beyond to support inclusivity and consistent academic progress for all students.
Future English is committed to broadening its international student pool, aiming to attract learners from a diverse range of countries. To achieve these goals, the Centre implements strategic and targeted marketing initiatives, supported by strong partnerships with education agents both locally and internationally.
