Representing and supporting NEAS members around the world

NEAS continually engages in marketing and promotion of NEAS members throughout the year by attending and presenting at key industry conferences. Since July this year, we have waved proudly the NEAS flag for our members by attending and presenting at the UECA Assessment Symposium in Brisbane, the Council for International Students Australia (CISA) conference in Perth, the ELS Teacher PD Day in Kuala Lumpur, the VUS TESOL Symposium in Ho Chi Min City, English Australia Conference in Melbourne, SYMPLED Agent Symposium in Melbourne, AIEC in Perth, the UECA PD Fest in Melbourne and ICEF Agent Workshop in Berlin. At all of these conferences we get to engage deeply with our members who attend and also showcase the great work NEAS members are doing to the sector.

This is in addition to the Quality Learning Series Workshops (QLS) that we have conducted throughout Australia at our member centres. A big thank you to James Cook University, Deakin University College, Macquarie University English Language Centre, and University of Tasmania for hosting our workshops over the last three months.

We have also released two new online courses with NEAS Online: Online Delivery and Welfare for Under 18s. These courses complement our existing six online courses available to all teachers and professional staff of our Full Members and to our Associate Members.

If you would like to host workshops or meet us at any of these events, please contact us at neas@neas.org.au
